Description
Elefant self-propelled anti-tank guns (German: Jagdpanzer Elefant), anti-tank guns of World War II Wehrmacht own use. Standard numbered Sd.Kfz.184. The name of the initial 43 type 8.8 cm anti-tank gun mounted Type 2 assault guns (Sturmgeschutz mit 8.8cm Pak43 / 2) and Tiger (P) tanks expulsion car (Panzerjager Tiger (P)) [4]. After a meeting in 1943 was officially named Ferdinand (Ferdinand) [5], and on February 27, 1944, at Hitler’s suggestion renamed Elefant(Elefant).
