   Fiume heavy cruiser started on April 29, 1929 in Trieste technology company, launched on April 27, 1930, and be completed by November 23, 1931. Zara class heavy cruiser second ship.
   After the completion of Fiume programmed into the the first clan cruiser detachments. Since then until 1940, Italy entered the war, Fiume are in the squad. From 1936 to 1937 during the civil war in Spain, the Fiume has been Spanish waters. In April 1939, Fiume with Pola involved in the invasion of Albania. March 29, 1941, Mata Cape Matapan naval battle in the British Royal Navy battleship HMS Warspite,HMS Valiant and HMS Barham of main gun at close range wounded last torpedo sank the British destroyer.
